Protein Resources launches trial batches for the European pet food sector

Protein Resources has opened registrations for its limited trial batches of EntoPro™, the company’s next‑generation functional insect protein designed for pet food applications. The initiative is aimed at European pet food manufacturers interested in testing the ingredient directly within their own R&D pipelines.

According to Protein Resources, the pet food industry is moving towards solutions that combine high functionality and sustainability, and EntoPro™ seeks to position itself within this trend. Trial batches will be available from Q2 2026, with a restricted number of places to ensure tailored technical support for early testers.

Protein Resources highlights the opportunity for manufacturers to experience the functional benefits of insect‑based protein, which the company believes may help set new performance standards in the sector.
