IPIFF and IFW 2026 bring the sector together in Turin

Turin will host two key events for the global insect sector: the General Assembly of IPIFF (International Platform of Insects for Food and Feed) and the IFW 2026 – Insects to Feed the World conference. Both are leading platforms driving scientific, regulatory, and industrial progress in the use of insects for food and animal nutrition, and will convene in the same city during the same week.

On 8 June, IPIFF will gather its members for its General Assembly, a working meeting focused on reviewing regulatory developments, aligning strategic priorities, and strengthening coordination among European stakeholders. The organisation reminds members that registration closes on 15 May, and participation should be confirmed before this deadline.

From 9 to 12 June, Turin will host IFW 2026, the flagship international conference for researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators working towards more sustainable and circular food systems. The programme will feature scientific presentations, technical sessions, and discussions on the role of insects in the transition to more efficient production models. The early‑bird rate for members is available until 22 May.

IFW 2026 also offers a sponsorship programme, providing companies with global visibility and positioning at the forefront of food innovation.
