Barcelona Packaging Hub has started 2026 by highlighting several milestones among the companies in its network. EFFYTEC is making progress in more sustainable pouch packaging solutions thanks to modular machinery and recyclable materials. United Barcode Systems has expanded its plant to strengthen local production.
At the same time, INVpack has focused on talent development, highlighting the career of CNC programmer Aitor Torres. Synchropack, for its part, identifies flexibility, efficiency and data-driven control as the key trends in flowpack automation for this year. And Antonio Mengibar S.A. continues to raise the bar with high-precision filling systems and independent modules.
The hub closed the month with its Annual Day 2025, held at AMEC Positive Industry, where members and partners reviewed the year’s achievements and defined priorities for 2026.
