FEDIAF announces new President following its General Assembly in Brussels

FEDIAF has announced the election of Greg Van Praagh as its new President, following the organisation’s General Assembly held on 10 June in Brussels. The meeting also confirmed the renewal of the Board of Directors, marking an important milestone for the sector’s representation at European level.

The federation expressed its sincere appreciation to Rosa Carbonell i Farré for her commitment and leadership over recent years, a period characterised by significant regulatory and societal changes affecting the pet food industry.

The French association FACCO reaffirmed its intention to continue working alongside FEDIAF and its members to promote safe, balanced and high‑quality nutrition for companion animals, while supporting the ongoing evolution of the sector.

FEDIAF is the united voice of the European pet food industry. It represents 16 national pet food associations across 19 countries, as well as five manufacturers operating in Europe. The federation collaborates with EU institutions, national authorities, academia, other associations and NGOs to ensure access to healthy and nutritious pet food for the 306 million companion animals living in Europe.
