Summary – Symrise Pet Food Joins GAPFA as New Affiliate Member

The Global Alliance of Pet Food Associations (GAPFA) has announced that Symrise Pet Food has joined the organisation as a new Affiliate Member, following approval by the GAPFA General Assembly. This addition strengthens GAPFA’s Affiliate Membership community and reinforces the Alliance’s commitment to fostering collaboration across the global pet food value chain. The Affiliate category is designed for organisations that provide essential expertise, ingredients, and services supporting the international pet food sector.

Symrise Pet Food contributes solutions in palatability, nutrition, and pet food protection, helping manufacturers ensure that products are safe, appealing, and supportive of animal health. Through its expertise in taste, nutrition, and health, the company brings innovative approaches that enhance pet wellbeing and product quality across global markets.

GAPFA represents more than 90% of global prepared pet food production through its member associations and works to advance pet food safety, nutrition, sustainability, and international trade. GAPFA President Loretta Hunter highlighted that Symrise’s incorporation strengthens the technical expertise within the Alliance. From Symrise, Lilette Robles Félicité expressed enthusiasm about joining GAPFA and collaborating with partners worldwide.
