Snif Snax accelerates European expansion

Snif Snax, the US-based manufacturer of dog treats, has strengthened its international strategy with the acquisition of its subsidiry Snif Snax UK, located in Maryport and specialising in salmon-based snacks made with Scottish salmon.

Founded in 2016, the company is adding a second manufacturing facility in the UK, enabling it to move towards a vertically integrated model “from sea to snack”, as highlighted by its CEO, Kevin Fick.

The acquisition marks an important step in accelerating Snif Snax’s entry into the UK and wider European markets.

The Brown family, founders of Snif Snax UK, will retain a significant stake in the business and will continue to support the brand’s international development, which currently spans the United States, Canada and Mexico.
