ProPAWS launches official page and opens registrations for European conference

The European initiative ProPAWS has today launched its official webpage, created as a central hub for veterinarians, breeders, scientists, entrepreneurs and pet‑sector professionals committed to advancing the use of healthy, sustainable alternative proteins in dog and cat nutrition.

The project aims to challenge the long‑standing conventions of the pet food industry, which has relied for decades on similar formulations and a heavy dependence on animal protein. Through its new platform, ProPAWS will provide information, resources and a space for open discussion to accelerate the shift towards innovative protein solutions with lower environmental impact.

Alongside the launch of the webpage, ProPAWS has also opened registrations for the ProPAWS Conference, taking place on 12 November in Bussum, the Netherlands. The event will bring together more than a hundred professionals and feature international speakers addressing innovation, sustainability and the future of pet nutrition.

Early bird tickets are now available and limited in number. ProPAWS encourages the sector to follow the project’s progress through its newly launched official page.
