Novonesis announces a webinar on the emerging role of enzymes in pet food

On 26 May 2026, Novonesis will host a webinar dedicated to the rising importance of enzymes in pet food, a technology increasingly central to developing more efficient, sustainable and health‑focused products. The session, scheduled for 4:00 p.m. CEST, is aimed at professionals seeking to drive the next generation of pet food innovation.

The event will explore how enzymes are evolving from simple processing aids into strategic enablers capable of enhancing palatability, digestibility, texture and raw‑material utilisation, while supporting more sustainable and efficient production processes.

Two expert speakers will lead the discussion. Marcial Guevara, DVM, PhD, Global Senior Technical Product Manager for Pets at Novonesis, will share insights into the impact of biosolutions on animal health and nutrition. Andrea Belford, Food Scientist at the company, will examine the application of enzymes from a sensory and functional perspective, drawing on her extensive background in research, sensory science and product development.

This webinar represents a valuable opportunity to understand how enzymatic technologies can reshape formulations, processes and product positioning in an increasingly competitive market.
