Forum presents a new edition of the Animal Nutrition and Pet Food Development webinar

The new edition of the webinar “Animal Nutrition and Pet Food Development”, organised by Forum and scheduled for 24 September, is designed as essential training for professionals involved in developing, evaluating or declaring food products for dogs and cats. In a sector where regulation is increasingly demanding and innovation moves quickly, understanding the interplay between nutritional fundamentals, raw‑material analytics and legal certainty is key to ensuring high‑quality products that fully comply with current standards.

This programme provides a solid and practice‑oriented introduction to the core aspects of formulation in the pet food industry. Participants will explore nutritional principles, ingredient and additive categories, declaration criteria, consumer trends and market expectations. It also includes a practical workshop focused on product assessment and optimisation, enabling attendees to apply theoretical knowledge directly to real development scenarios.

The last two editions, which brought together more than 30 professionals, received very positive feedback, highlighting the clarity of the approach and the immediate usefulness of the content. The webinar features two recognised experts: Dr Pia Rosenberg from BetterFeedGood GmbH and Dr Stephanie Reinhart from REINHART, who will offer complementary perspectives spanning science, formulation and regulatory frameworks.
