ADM expands its PRIOME® postbiotic portfolio for pet wellbeing

ADM, a global leader in nutrition, functional ingredients and science‑driven solutions for the pet food industry, has announced the expansion of its PRIOME® postbiotic range. The company has introduced PRIOME® Joint Health (JH), a new postbiotic developed from heat‑treated Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus NCIMB 30446, designed to support key areas of health in dogs and cats.

According to ADM’s preliminary findings, PRIOME® JH shows promising potential to help maintain joint health, support cartilage function, stimulate collagen production, and contribute to muscle maintenance. The postbiotic may also play a beneficial role in intestinal barrier integrity and healthy weight management, two areas of growing interest for formulators and brands seeking advanced functional solutions.

With this launch, ADM strengthens its PRIOME® platform as one of the most comprehensive postbiotic offerings in the pet sector, aligning with the increasing demand for scientifically validated functional ingredients. It marks another step in the company’s commitment to driving innovation in pet nutrition and wellbeing.
