IBERPET unveils its renewed brand ahead of the launch of its 2027 edition

The International Trade Fair for Pet Care Professionals will hold its next edition from 10 to 12 March at IFEMA MADRID.

Madrid, 24 June 2026.– IBERPET, the International Trade Fair for Pet Care Professionals, announces its upcoming edition, to be held from 10 to 12 March 2027. Organised by IFEMA MADRID, the event will once again be supported by the Madrid Association of Companion Animal Veterinarians (AMVAC) and the Association of the Pet Care Industry and Trade (AEDPAC), as well as by the sector’s leading organisations, including AEVET, ANFAAC, CEVE, the VET+i Foundation and VETERINDUSTRIA. Together, they reinforce the fair’s position as the key professional meeting point for the pet care ecosystem in Southern Europe.

The new edition follows the success of 2026, which brought together 302 exhibiting companies representing 1,200 brands, and welcomed more than 21,000 professional visitors, confirming the strength and dynamism of the sector. Companies wishing to participate in IBERPET 2027 can submit their application through the fair’s official website.

A new identity evolving with the pet care sector

For its 2027 edition, the fair introduces its new brand: IBERPET. This naming evolves from IBERZOO PROPET and reflects both the sustained growth of the event and the transformation currently shaping the pet care sector. The change represents a strategic step aimed at strengthening its global positioning and recognition as a leading platform for the companion animal industry.

The new brand offers a more direct and global representation of the pet care universe, aligning with the fair’s expanded scope and its ambition to continue broadening its reach, attracting new markets and consolidating its leadership in Spain and Europe.

A key platform for pet care professionals and industry

IBERPET 2027 is presented as a comprehensive space for business, innovation and knowledge, bringing together manufacturers, distributors, veterinary professionals and service companies around a high‑value exhibition offering and content programme.

The fair will once again coincide with VetMadrid, the annual congress organised by AMVAC, and with the Iberpet Forum organised by AEDPAC, reinforcing its role as a unique environment that combines commercial activity, specialised training and sectoral knowledge generation.

The event will continue to promote strategic areas such as internationalisation, innovation, professional networking and the development of new business opportunities, within a market context that in Spain exceeds €3 billion, shows high social penetration, and contributes to the creation of more than 46,900 direct jobs and 356,000 indirect jobs.
