New Kemin webinar: From raw materials to palatability testing

Kemin Pet Food & Rendering invites industry professionals to explore the full journey of palatability development, from raw material selection to final validation through kennel testing. The webinar will focus on how to optimise ingredient choices, processing parameters, and palatant design to achieve flavour, aroma and texture profiles that maximise pet preference and strengthen consumer trust.

The session will be led by Victor Rannou, R&D Associate Director at Kemin Pet Food & Rendering, who oversees research and development in palatants, antioxidants, food safety, and health and wellbeing solutions. Rannou has extensive experience in the pet food industry, covering formulation, manufacturing processes and palatability evaluation. His background includes close collaboration with manufacturers across all stages of development — from palatant design to dry kibble production and kennel acceptance testing.

The webinar will offer a practical and applied perspective on palatability development, integrating science, technology and sensory validation to support manufacturers in creating more appealing and competitive products.
