Managing feline CKD: Expert webinar by WSAVA and Purina Institute

On 4 June 2026, veterinarians will have the opportunity to attend a specialised webinar on the multimodal management of feline chronic kidney disease. The session will take place at 18:00 EST / 10:00 CEST and offers 1 hour of continuing education.

The webinar, delivered by Rachel Korman, BVSc, MANZCVS (Internal Medicine), FANZCVS, will explore practical, evidence‑based strategies to improve the quality of life of cats with CKD. Key topics include comprehensive clinical assessment, symptom control, nutritional support, hydration strategies, phosphorus management, continuous monitoring and the importance of an individualised approach based on disease stage and comorbidities.

The session will also feature a live Q&A, downloadable materials and recommendations that can be applied immediately in daily clinical practice. It is aimed at practising veterinarians, technicians, students and professionals wishing to update their knowledge of a condition that requires a multidisciplinary and up‑to‑date approach.
