International expansion and industrial reinforcement in 2025 for AKVATERA

AKVATERA closes 2025 with a significant expansion of its production capacity and sustained growth in its export activity. The main development of the year has been the launch of AKVATERA W, a new plant dedicated to the production of wet pet food. The facility has begun operations with stability and performance parameters in line with expected industry standards, strengthening the company’s capacity in a growing category and diversifying its production structure.

The historic plant in Zapyškis, Lithuania, has maintained a strategic role in operational continuity, ensuring consistent volumes, quality stability and support for international expansion. The coexistence of both facilities has made it possible to sustain the increase in demand in different markets.

In the commercial sphere, AKVATERA has added new export destinations, such as Morocco, Bahrain and Peru, the latter being its first market in South America. The volume exported in 2025 exceeded 20 million kilos of product, equivalent to approximately 14 million units distributed to international partners.

With a view to the next growth cycle, the company has expanded its export team to strengthen market management and coordination with global partners. AKVATERA faces the coming financial year with a more robust industrial structure and a consolidated international strategy.
