WELDING strengthens its global expansion

WELDING GmbH & Co. KG, the German family‑owned company with more than seven decades of experience in the distribution of pharmaceutical ingredients, food additives and specialised raw materials, has announced the creation of its new subsidiary, WELDING Ingredientes SA de CV, in Mexico. The move marks a significant milestone in the group’s international strategy, extending its European expertise to a new operational base while maintaining its core focus on quality, regulatory rigour and long‑term partnerships.

The new company will be led by Managing Director Michael Kuhlmann, whose extensive background in the pharmaceutical and food sectors positions him to implement WELDING’s established standards of traceability, documentation and compliance. Operating as an independent entity, the subsidiary integrates into a business model built on a robust global sourcing network, including audited manufacturers in India, China and Europe, combined with strict Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs oversight.

For WELDING, this expansion reflects a consistent approach to international growth: deploying local teams, modern infrastructure and technical expertise while preserving the reliability and transparency that define the group’s European operations. By reinforcing its global footprint, WELDING consolidates its role as a leading distributor capable of delivering competitive pricing without compromising on documentation, regulatory certainty or supply chain integrity.
