New Renal line from G&G Pet Food

G&G Pet Food has launched a new Renal line formulated using Dr Gemo’s method, an approach that integrates strict protein selection criteria, phosphorus control and processing techniques aimed at preserving the nutritional functionality of the final product. The range is based on a single, highly digestible pork protein source, selected for its amino acid profile and technological performance in controlled cooking processes.

The use of vasocottura—characteristic of the method—allows the integrity of sensitive compounds to be maintained and the bioavailability of key nutrients to be optimised, reducing variability between batches and improving the organoleptic stability of the product. The formulation has been designed for pets with chronic kidney disease, prioritising parameters of digestibility, energy density and gastrointestinal tolerance.

The Renal line is positioned as a complete prescription diet, developed for clinical environments that require precision in nutritional management and strict control of ingredients. The methodological approach applied by G&G Pet Food seeks to ensure consistency between formulation, processing and the expected clinical response.
